ABC Paramount was the disk label of the American Broadcasting company (ABC).

ABC Paramount was created 1955 in New York as subsidiary that ABC and took a far off of Pop over jazz and Rhythm and Blues up to Sprachaufnahmen.

1959 the labels Audition, COMMAND performance, Colortone, Grand Award and whale village Music resound bought up. Up to COMMAND performance they were however soon again dissolved. At the beginning of the 1960er years still another special jazz label (impulses) was created, 1966 then a Blueslabel (Bluesway) as subsidiary company.

Because of its world-wide selling ways smaller labels used such as Anchor, Chancellor, fargo, Sire and Wren ABC Paramount than selling partners.

Among the most well-known artists of the label ranked Paul Anka, The Poni Tails, Lloyd Price, Ray Charles, Cliff Richard, Fats domino and B.B. King.

1966 were renamed the label in ABC.
