Accumulation is a Rating; the evaluation of the yield prospects of a security by an analyst.

The analyst expresses that the paper will develop directly well and/or better than the total market associated with the security. Investors, who are in the possession of the security, should hold it. With favorable course the security should be further bought. "“Accumulating"” is an intermediate stage between purchase (good evaluation) and stops (neutral evaluation).
