- The activity rate designates on the one hand the proportional portion of the employees (i.e. employed person plus unemployed persons) at the whole of all persons of the employable age (of 15. to 64. Lebensjahr).
- On the other hand activity rate designates also the proportional portion of all employees
- A) at the whole of the resident population or
- b) at the resident population starting from a certain minimum age (i.d.R. 15 years).
