Adalbert Schmitt (* 1. March 1932; "† 19 June 2005) was a German entrepreneur and gastronomer.

Life

It became at the 1. March 1932 in Frankfurt/Main born. After a theory to the industrial trader, according to own statement the only time of its life in which it a boss had had, made it itself with 22 years in the plastic industry independently. In value home it produced plastic articles for the household, worried in its company primarily about Design and quality control. Carried of the Wirtschaftswunder, he was already after three years fortune millionaire. 1959 moved the company after cross value home into own areas and already employed after short time 250 to 300 coworkers. Schmidt had with three women sieves children.

1971 withdrew itself Schmitt from the active management of its enterprise and created Swiss rooms. This hotel with two, later three restaurants became in the following years a for Feinschmecker.

Also on experiences with the life abroad Schmitt could look back: in the Toskana, in Ligurien and Provence he had lived many years and had worked as a photographer, "“beautiful taverns, beautiful products"” had made a blueprint and her in seven books in the self-publishing house had published. In 20 years it sold approximately 35,000 books, a success history thus also here.

To the plastic factory also Swiss had to announce rooms 2002 insolvency. At short notice new tenants could be found, who were later likewise insolvent however short time.
