Adolf kiss muzzle (* 22 February 1822 in ditch with Karlsruhe; "† 28. May 1902 in Heidelberg) was a German physician and a medical researcher, in addition a co-author of the term "„conventional Meier "“.

Biography

Adolf kiss muzzle was born into a physician family: Both its father and the grandfather were physicians. After the school attendance in Mannheim and Heidelberg he began 1840 at the University of Heidelberg the medicine study. 1846 he put the state examination down and became Assisitent of Karl von Pfeufer. He spent the years 1847 and 1848 with further studies in Vienna and Prague. Afterwards it served two years long as an army surgeon the army of Baden in the war against Denmark. It left 1849 the army and operated until 1853 in Kandern (Black Forest) a practice. There he married 1850.

For health reasons it could not resume practice. Thus it went to peppering castle - because Rudolf Virchow taught here -, in order to work at its thesis. 1855 it in peppering castle doctor of the medicine became and in the same year habilitierte itself it in Heidelberg.

Two years later (1857) he became an extraordinary professor in Heidelberg. 1859 it accepted a call after attaining and became there a chairman of the range internal medicine. it went to 1863 into the same function to Freiburg into mash gau and 1876 to Strasbourg. 1886 were emeritiert kiss muzzle and lived from now on in Heidelberg.
