The bill Adolf of Hans man was a Steinkohlen-Bergwerk in the Dortmunder quarter Mengede.

1873 were operated the bill of Mengeder Bergwerks-AG and the first pit was abgeteuft. 1888 were abgeteuft a second pit (late pit 1), which took up 1896 the promotion. 1894 one had already begun, pit 3 abzuteufen, the 1898 up to 2. Sole was down-brought.

On 1 July 1910 the bill Adolf went from Hans man into the possession of the Germanof Luxembourg mine and hut-gnaws over. A promotion of 762.000 tons could be obtained by the advancement of operating equipment until 1914.

On 1 August 1934 with the building of the large pit Gustav Knepper in the field Adolf was begun by Hans man. The new pit transferred the promotion in February 1938, the old pit Adolf by Hans man 1/2/3 was at the same time shut down.

1953 changed the pit Adolf from Hans man with the pit Gustav Knepper into the possession of the Hansa mining industry AG. 1963 was shut down the Tagesanlagen of Adolf of Hans man 1-3 and two years later a group with the bill Hansa were manufactured, which remained existing up to the complete quiet putting of Adolf of Hans man on 30 June 1967.

Today are in the administrative and washroom buildings, which in the context of the international building exhibition Em park were monument-fairly converted, an outside training centre of the stand farmer handicraft.
