Adolf Theodor Ro (* 20 January 1782 in Grossenhain/Saxonia; "† approx. 1850 in - today free valley) was Ro the son of hut supervisor Johann Theodor and a German Industrieller. It introduced glass production on hard coal basis into Saxonia.

Life

Studied 1800 - 1803 at the mountain academy free mountain. In 2. and 3. Lehrjahr chemistry with William August Lampadius.

1805 as hut masters in the first glass factory of Germany on hard coal basis: Glass factory Potschappel (today free valley).

To 1818 hut masters at the royally Prussian mirror glasswork Friedrichsthal (today allium-hammer-cost-brew in Brandenburg).

Starting from 1816 planning of the royal glass factory at the (today free valley).

Starting from 1822 in the royal glass factory was produced.
