Adventist World radio (AWR) is a adventistischer broadcasting station, which was created into the 1930er years and first under the name Voice OF Prophecy its programs radiated. In the year 1948 the German-language branch under the name voice of the hope was created, which from the community of the seventh tag Adventisten, an Evangelist free church, will maintain.
The broadcasting station voice of hope has its seat in Darmstadt and radiates over short and medium wave a daily program with one duration of a half hour. Mainly transmitting plants of other broadcasting stations are used. One of the first transmitters, which programs took over, was radio Luxembourg. Later one used transmitting plants in Andorra, Malta, Austria, Italy and transmission mechanisms of the voice of Russia.
Since the introduction of the private radio to Germany the voice of hope produces also transmissions, which are radiated in restaurant transmitters - usually in open channels or in the citizen radio -.
Besides the seventh tag Adventisten operates a television channel sending world-wide, also the voice of the hope of contributions supply. In December 2003 the first test ending of a 24-Stunden-Satelliten-Programms for Europe started.
