Aerfer was an Italian airplane manufacturer. The company became 1950 as part of the I.R.I. - Finmeccanica group based. A goal of the enterprise was it to resume some developments of the aviation technology broken off with end of the Second World War.

The types Aerfer Sagittario II and Aerfer Ariete developed from this effort.

The company came up in the year 1969 by union with Salmoiraghi and the aviation department of the Fiat company into the again created Aeritalia company.
