AFNUS is in private customer logistics a comprehensive term for not deliverable transmissions.

The term AFNUS results from the following abbreviations

  • '' Acceptance refuses '' (the receiver refused the reduction of the transmission)
  • '' Wrong address '' (due to an incorrect address the transmission cannot be zugesetllt)
  • '' Does not reach '' (the receiver was not also not attainable and a delivery during a spare replacement and/or a spare receiver was possible)
  • '' Re-sorting errors '' (the transmission was dispatched to the wrong forwarding place.)
  • '' Defective commodity '' (the commodity and/or the packing is damaged.)

Often such goods in central depots of the mail-order houses are worked on.
