The air transport company Ruhr district A.G., briefly LURAG, was one of the numerous airlines under the roof of Junkers air traffic with seat in meals. It was created on 24 February 1925, equipped with altogether ten airplanes (ever five Junkers F 13 and five Junkers G24. 1926 came up the LURAG into again-created German air Hansa (so the way of writing until 1934). The last business report of the LURAG originates from the year 1935.

The machines started mainly from the airport and flew lines to Amsterdam, Berlin, Bremen, Breslau, Dresden, Erfurt, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Kassel, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.
