Albert Schweitzer (* 14 January 1875 in Kaysersberg in the Oberelsass with Colmar, German Reich; "† 4 September 1965 in Gabon) was a German alemannischer Evangelist theologian and minister, an organ artist, a music researcher (musician), a philosopher and a physician from the Elsass. In the Evangelist church its anniversary is on 4 September.

Schweitzer originated from a alemannisch family. It created the hospital in in Gabon and was 1952 Nobel peace prize carriers. It played itself in a film of Gilbert Cesbron over its life. Under its theological works one knows the Mystik of the Apostels Paulus (1962); The Christianity and the world religions, history of the life Jesu research (1961) call.
