Albert von Bezold (* 7 January 1836 in Ansbach; "† 2. March 1868 in peppering castle) was a German physiologist.

Family

It came of to an old family originating from Lower Franconia and was the son of the Ansbacher of physician Christoph of Bezold (1789-1855), royally Bavarian government advice and Kreismedizinalrat, that the Bavarian aristocracy acknowledgment to 9. March 1843 in Munich received with entry into the aristocracy register to 19. May 1843.

Life

After Bezold 1854 had successfully locked its school time, he began to study medicine still in the same year in Munich. Already in year after it changed with the same subjects to the University of peppering castle. 1857 went from Bezold to the University of Berlin, in order to study with Emil Heinrich you Bois Reymond. Already one year later became Bezold its assistant.

1859 turned Bezold after peppering castle back around its thesis "„over the crossed effects of the spinal column "“to finish. In the same year Bezold got a call to the University of Jena, which he could accept however only after delivery of his Dissertaton.

Bezold discovered and Adolf Jarisch junior furnished the scientific proof of the cycle effect (Bezold Jarisch reflex).
