Rudolph Albert of (* 6. July 1817 in Zurich; "† 2 November 1905) was a Swiss Anatom and physiologist.

From studied 1836 to 1839 at the university Zurich, then at the Rheini Friedrich William university in Bonn, in Berlin and in Heidelberg. He was pupil of Johannes Peter and Jakob Henle. it was attained a doctorate to 1841 in philosophy, 1842 in medicine.

In the year 1844 he became a professor at the University of Zurich, 1847 at the University of peppering castle, where he remained up to retirement in the year 1903. There it created 1849 the physical-medical society. Since 1849 it was together with Karl Theodor Ernst von Siebold of the magazine fur scientific Zoologie.
