Albert baron von Schrenck Notzing (* 18. May 1862 in Oldenburg; "† 12 February 1929 in Munich) was a German physician and Parapsychologe.

Schrenck Notzing originated from one of the oldest families of Munich. He was the son of major Walter Schrenck Notzing and its wife Meta Abbes. After its school time, which he completed at the High School of the garrison town Oldenburg, Schrenck Notzing in Munich studied medicine and attained a doctorate 1888.

Already in the following year it established itself in Munich as a practical physician. He dedicated himself to the medical psychology and became the first Psychotherapeut in Southern Germany. It became famous by its research over Hypnose and Parapsychologie.

On 27 September 1902 Schrenck Notzing in Munich Gabriele Siegle married. With their it had two sons, Leopold (*1894) and Gustav (*1896).

Schrenck Notzing became famous by its research over Hypnose and Parapsychologie. The model of the English Society for Psychical Research before eyes, he created 1886 together with Carl you Prel in Munich the "“psychological society"”, where parapsychologische attempts took place. Admits is for instance of Thomas's man reports over attempts with the medium Willi cutter, that took place in the early twenties.
