Alexander Schoeller (* 24. March 1852 in Elberfeld, "† 22 November 1911 in Berlin) was a German banker.

Schoeller became after a theory in the banking house Arthur Blanck and various foreign stays - among other things in Uruguay, Belgium and Great Britain - 1877 director of the branch Hamburg of the German bank. it occurred 1879 as a civil servant the Prussian sea-action and in the consequence also with the title secret sea-action advice was distinguished. it changed 1884 on operation of Adolph from Hans man to the Direction of the Disconto society, to which it belonged up to its death as a personally responsible partner.

Emphasis of the work Schoellers was on the one hand the financing of the rheinisch heavy industry. Like that it was as supervisory board of the Germanof Luxembourg mine and hut-gnaws, the RWE, which takes part Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks-AG, the Eschweiler of mine association as well as the bill north star in the financing of the Montankonzerne of Hugo Stinnes, August Thyssen and Emil Kirdorf.

On the other hand it was strongly in the financing of the German colonial enterprises engaged, for example the new Guinea company and the Otavi mines.
