Analysis of effects or Assessment in the economic science the estimation is called of effects of an activity and their evaluations. Contrary to the efficiency analysis the analysis of effects sets as well not only during the evaluation of the determined results of an activity in, but refers the result determination into the analysis. The word Assessment occasionally also in the francophonen way of writing Assessement.

The analysis of effects waives thereby the separation between result determination and - evaluation and regards the entire complex. The subject of the scientific view are therefore apart from appraisal procedures also prognosis procedures.

• In the age medicine

In the age medicine a broadly varied geriatric Assessment in two stages is recommended for the clarification of verschiedner reciprocal effects of the typical age syndromes.

1. A Screening (standardized questionnaire after seeing and hearing, mobility arms and legs, Inkontinenz, nutrition, cognitive efficiency, emotional condition, social support, activity) walked. If problem areas are present, second step should follow.

2. Step; the more comprehensive basis Assessment, consisting of the Barthel test, memory test after Folstein (minimental), depression test after Yesavage (GSD), social questionnaire, after Tinetti, "“UP and Go-test, drawing the numbers of a clock, measurement of the hand strength.
