Andreas Aurifaber German: "Goldschmidt" (* 1514 in Breslau, " 12 December 1559 in king mountain) was a German physician. It studied medicine in Wittenberg and became later in king mountain body physician of the duke Albrecht of Brandenburg Prussia as well as professor for physics at Albertina. In the controversy over the justification teachings ("Osiandri controversy") that seized the party of the Reformators Andreas Osiander.Sein older brother is a theologian Johannes Aurifaber (Vratislaviensis).
