Andreas Benz (* 1942 in Marburg) is a Swiss writer, Psychoanalytiker and a psychiatrist of German descent. The author from special books to Ethnopsychoanalyse and Kurzpsychotherapieformen lives with family in its Wahlheimat Zurich.

As a war child Andreas Benz born from education-civil conditions in the small university town Marburg moved briefly to end of war with its parents into the Swiss restaurant metropolis Zurich, where it buildup. After the Abitur it studied medicine at the universities of Geneva, Zurich and Heidelberg. Only after it he attained the naturalization into the Swiss nationality in the canton Zurich. As it made itself 1975 with its own psychotherapeutischen practice likewise there independent as an established physician. Apart from the patient support he dedicated from the beginning to the traumata research (among other things of war and force victims) and wrote themselves over it some specialized technical and also books.
