The announcement over minimum requirements to the operation of commercial transactions of the credit institutes (MaH) regulates in detail, which conditions must fulfill credit institutes, in order to be allowed to operate commercial transactions. It became on 23 October 1995 of the Federal Supervisory Office for the credit system (BaKred), which publishes forerunner organization of the BaFin. With it the guideline for the Risikomangement in connection with the trade of business convert, which the Basler committee for state supervision of the banks of July 1994 demand.

The announcement belongs to the so-called "„minimum requirements "“, which are an instrument of the state supervision of the banks for the Sicherstellung of a normal organization of the business concern in subranges of the credit institutes. Minimum requirements were published by the BaKred the first time 1975 after the insolvency of the Herstatt bank in consequence of foreign exchange speculations. The next appeared in the year 1980.

Commercial transactions are money market, security, foreign exchange, precious metal and derivative business, which are locked by Kreditinstitut in own name on own or strange calculation.

The announcement regulates among other things the functional and organizational separation from trade, completion, Risikocontrolling - in the announcement monitoring mentioned - and account system. In addition it specifies in detail, which must be made available information about risk positions of the management work-daily.
