Anplatten, this term comes from the horticulture, and is a kind of the plant refinement. This technology is used, if the improving document is stronger in the diameter than Edelreis. It is made in the spring and summer.
With improving in the spring, is to be made certain that Edelreis is in winter peace, it should in January in open weather be cut, and up to the improving time coolly, but frost-protected be stored, so that it is not yet propelled. Johannisbeeren, Stachelbeeren, fruit and ornamental shrubs, are improved according to this method. Also with Zitruspflanzen this procedure is used.
At the document in the selected from top to bottom, one is deeply cut about 3 to 4 cm long tongue some millimeters. Subsequently, the improving place with phloem or rubber band tapes, and lashed. Afterwards all interfaces with grafting wax are carefully applied.
In the winter following on it, during a summer refinement, (Johannisbeeren and about 10 cm above the document the remaining crown is thrown off (cut off), and in the spring the remainder completely removed, whereby the plane of section with grafting wax must be applied. The Anplatten can be made in the open land, in addition, with container plants.
