Aperol is a from Italy, which is usually used due to its bitter taste as aperitif or in Cocktails. It is a distillate from Rhabarber, Chinarinde, Enzian, bitter oranges and aromatic herbs with red orangener colouring and a bitter-sweet flavour. Aperol has an alcohol content of 11 %, and/or is available since at the beginning of of 2006 also with 15 %.

Aperol came 1919 into Padua on the market and since 2003 by the Campari group is for the first time driven out.
