An application is a performance, with which the applicant wants to convince the addressee of the fact that he is suitable for a certain task. The most frequent case is the application addressed to an enterprise around job, practical course or another place.

In the broader sense the term covers also the request for admission to a university or a university and the application of a city or a country around delivering cultural or sporty large events.

Cause

Applications are frequently the answer to a recruitment advertising or a job advertisement, in which the task and the requirements are described to the future place owner.
