Aquila is a German manufacturer of airplanes of general aviation.

Company

The AQUILA technical developments GmbH (based 1996), has its head office in with Berlin and employs 25 coworkers. The subject of the enterprise is the production of small aircrafts for general aviation.

In March 2005 an insolvency procedure had to be opened. Under the guidance of the insolvency manager Dr. Bruno M. a reorganization concept was compiled, in order to make the continuation possible of the enterprise. Already in December 2004 adjusted production was again taken up in March 2005 with first monthly two airplanes and is to be increased medium-term on three airplanes per month.

In Germany the selling takes place directly. The European market is served by selling partners in France and Austria.

Aquila A 210

The Aquila A 210 is a modern, two-seat power plane in GRP components building method. It is intended for the training, as well as small aircraft for the private and commercial sector.

The airplane is certified after the European construction specifications JAR-VLA and by a Rotax piston motor is propelled. A permission for night vision flight is desired and is to be converted, be planned so soon the permission regulations this.
