The arbeitsteilige economy is a restaurant form, in which each humans are with its work on certain work areas concentrated and specialized, in others however only very limited and inefficiently authorized to act. In the work areas, in which humans specialized, this humans are however particularly efficient.

Arbeitsteilige economics is possible only if the goods and services of specialized humans can be exchanged among themselves. In addition an article of exchange is necessary, which the close conditions "“commodity commodity"” - loosens exchange to "“commodity article of exchange commodity"” - exchange.

If the arbeitsteilige economy does not function, then humans drop back into the Naturalwirtschaft.

According to Marx the arbeitsteilige economy leads to the alienation of the producer from the product.
