Aribert Rothenberger (* 1944 in Woerrstadt in Rhinehesse-Palatinate), is a German child and youth psychiatrist.

Life

Rothenberger studied medicine at the University of Mainz from 1966 to 1971, where he attained a doctorate to 1972. From 1972 to 1983 worked he in the child and youth psychiatry, psychiatry and neurology of the University of meal and the University of Ulm; imzuge its it was recognized 1980 to the mental specialist and 1982 as a physician in the child and youth psychiatry.

From 1983 to 1994 it was active to child and youth-psychiatric hospital at Zentralinstitut for mental health in Mannheim, where it attained a doctorate to 1985 in the subject child and youth psychiatry at the University of Heidelberg and 1987 were appointed the professor. Likewise he attained 1992 and/or 1994 the acknowledgment there as Psychotherapeut and supervisor in the behavior therapy.

Since 1994 he is a director of the hospital and health center for child and youth psychiatry of the University of Goettingen.
