Dr. Arthur Lanc was a medical officer in and for the support of all Jewish forced laborers in the area responsibly. These could be given however no medicines. Dr. Lanc branched nevertheless together with the veterinary surgeon Dr. Krisch them assigned medicaments for the Jews and was besides to three Jews helpful to flee from a camp in Thus it succeeded to those, in a hiding place on the attic of the white tannery Weissensteiner in high-calibrates the LV terror to survive. Dr. Lanc received for it from Yad Vashem the honour title of "“fair among the peoples"”.
