Arthur William Sidney Herrington (* 30. March 1891; "† 6 September 1970) was an US-American engineer and manufacturer, who are famous for its all-side well-known jeep of the US army in the Second World War.

Herrington began to work during the First World War on a new construction for a military truck for rough area. The smallest was the Vierteltonner jeep with all-wheel drive, which was the prototype for many models of the 1930er and 1940er years.

The jeep served clearing-up vehicle, taxi, waste car, sedan in the Second World War as machine gun underbody, and much more besides. It was a kind universe Round vehicle.
