August von Miaskowski (* 26 January 1838 in Pernau, live country; "† 22 November 1899) was a political economist.

Life

Miaskowski studied departmental head of the Baltic civil administration in Riga, yard court lawyer and lecturer at the polytechnic institute to Dorpat, Heidelberg and Berlin on the right of and political sciences, then was daselbst, habilitierte themselves 1871 at the University of Jena, became 1874 professor in Basel, 1881 in Breslau. Since 1882 it was member of the Prussian since 1885 of the German agriculture advice.

Work

It wrote:

  • "“The bindingness of the landed property and the family estate"” (Jena 1873);
  • "“Isaak Iselin"” (Basel 1875);
  • "“The condition of the land, alpine and forestry of German Switzerland"” (Leipz. 1878);
  • "“The Swiss common land"” (that. 1879);
  • "“Vomit and real property conditions in the German Reich"” (that. 1882-84, 2 Bde.).
