BBC World is a English-language television station of the BBC.

BBC World sends from London for all abroad living spectators of the united Kingdom of a 24-Stunden-Vollprogramm with international messages.

Kind of sending was on 26 October 1995 together with the English television station BBC Prime.

BBC World is spread digitally and similarly (Eutelsat and Astra) over satellite and is partly also in the cable similar to or within the framework from Programmbouquets to to be received. In Berlin the program is also terrestrial spread since 1995 (until 2003 similarly, since then via DVB-T). It is the only freely receiptable TV program of the BBC, which radiates advertisement.
