Blattscheide that is called bulgy or the comprehensive sheet reason with grasses and many Thereby the sheath is split mostly, i.e. the edges are freely, only laid on top of each other. On the other hand the sheets of the half grasses have closed sheaths or such, at which no free edges are present. With many sheets however the sheath part is suggested only or is missing completely.
