Cadre kaderschmiede, deduced of cadre, frequently colloquially educational facilities are called, in which mostly later member of a power elite, approximately in politics or economics studies.

The term originally originates from the Eastern Bloc, where later high party cadres at special elite universities studied.

Beside the German university for administrative sciences Speyer (DHV Speyer) are international examples the Universities of Harvard or Berkeley in the USA, Oxford and Cambridge in Great Britain as well as the L'Ecole striking width unit of the Etudes Commerciales HEC and the national d'administration in France.
