Car of the yearly, officially "“Car OF the Year"”, is an honor, with which since 1963 an appearing new, erschaffene of European magazines, innovative vehicle model is distinguished annually. Since 1975 will always assign the title for the following year.

The choice is made by engine journalists, who are world-wide selected by the participating magazines. Here each voter has 25 points available, from which it can assign maximally nine for an individual vehicle.
