Carl William (of) Heine (* 26 April 1838 in CAN place; "† 9 September 1877 in CAN place) was a physician, surgeon and president of the German medical profession in Prague.

Bernhard Heine is born on 26 April 1838 as a son of the physician and the orthopedist Jakob Heine in CAN place. After conclusion of the maturity examination in Stuttgart it registers in the winter semester 1855 at the University of as a medical student. Hospital boss and president of the medical profession in Prague (1873 - 1877)

Heines of successes in Innsbruck cause the Austrian government to assign it a similar project in Prague. In Prague 1873 a second surgical hospital are to be created. With larger budget than in Innsbruck Heine from the hospital can make exemplary Institut of European rank. It cares at the same time for the Prager water supply and provides themselves for better hygenic conditions in the "“golden city"”. The German physicians in Prague make it in January 1877 their president. 1876 he is already raised Austrian citizen and thus as carrier of the medal of the iron crown into the hereditary knight conditions of the empire. That transacts gotten sick in the summer 1877 untiringly surprisingly at diptheritischer angina and dies on 9 September in the parental house in CAN place in the age of thirty-nine years.
