The Central African economic and monetary union (frz. conomique et de l'Afrique Centrale, shortened CEMAC) is a union of six Central African states: Cameroon, Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African republic and Chad. Their common currency is the CFA franc.

The currency community borders on the westAfrican economic and monetary union.
