The city hall castle on Fehmarn was built for 1901 by the architect Carl Voss from Kiel for the city castle on Fehmarn in place of the latemedieval city hall of 1520 for a total's building sum of 85.000 realm Marks. The city hall established as on oval, about 200 M. are enough and 70 M. broad Burger market place to clinker building method and took up the administration rooms of the city, the prison and the dwellings of mayor and patrolman. Additionally developed a small restaurant yard, which served as prisoner yard.
