The city hall west is the address of the Karlsruher city administration in the west city.

The 1895-98 in the Neorenaissance style of Adolf Hanser builds building of representations was seat of the Karlsruher life insurance. After numerous changes and extensions the building established from sandstone changed into the possession of the city. During the crew time after that 2. World war, was seized the building of the French and later of American crew power.
