Claude pool of broadcasting corporations (* 12. July 1813 in Saint Julien France; "† 10 February 1878 in Paris) was a French physiologist. He discovered the function of pancreas and liver with digesting procedures. As the first it described the meaning environment for the maintenance of the life and was thereby one the first Protagonisten of homeostasis. In addition Berne pool of broadcasting corporations is the scientist, who justified the discipline of the experimental physiology with its Curare experiments at frogs. It could show that Curare blocks the line functions of the neuromuscular synapses.

Berne pool of broadcasting corporations was pupil of Magendie. 1854 were created for Berne pool of broadcasting corporations a chair for general physiology to the Sorbonne. 1855 he became successor of Magendie at the de France.

The probably bekanntetste quotation of Claude Berne pool of broadcasting corporations, with which it draws the result of its research work, reads: "„Le germe n'est rien, le terrain est tout! "“, on German: "„The germ is not anything, the environment is everything. "“
