Closed Shop (dt. here in approximately: in itself closed enterprise) marks an enterprise in that all coworkers obligation-moderately the trade union belongs, only such is also adjusted. This form forms the Gegenmodell to the "“open shop"”. In Germany these organization or shut-off clauses is inadmissible, since they offend against the negative freedom of coalation to be subject to no entrance obligation.

This clause exisitierte in Great Britain at the time, in that the trade unions still very much power possessed and by Margaret Thatcher after the mountain worker strike 1984/85 was abolished. In Australia the C.S. is still usual.
