Crew power designates a state, which keeps another state or a part of it occupied. Crew power in most cases transfers also large ranges of the executive in the occupied area and limits thereby the sovereignty of the country concerned. In Germany and in Austria the term of "crew powers" is often used without further additive for four crew powers, which allied also than or winner powers are designated, after the Second World War (Great Britain, France, the USA and Soviet Union).
After Geneva conventions crew powers special obligations have that in relation to the population in the occupied area.
