The CW Television network (The CW), is an US-American television network, which will take up its transmit mode in September 2006.

The network rises from the fusion of the two past networks United Paramount network (UPN) and The stock, which will stop its independent enterprise in September 2006. To its place The CW, a joint venture steps the owner of UPN, and Warner Bros between the CBS corporation. Entertainment, the Mehrheitseignerin of The stock. The network addresses itself to a juvenile public, which is addressed already now by UPN and The stock.

The CW network takes over to a large extent the transmission pattern of The stock and 13 hours per week in the Prime Time and additionally a five-hour animation block in the Saturday morning will send. The official program - as usual with all networks - given in May at the so-called case Upfront presentation admits, whereby transmission places were already assured to the ratio-strongest TV serials of the two past networks (among other things a himmlische family, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, superatue ral, Veronica Mars and Everybody Hates Chris).
