Dandelion forms a kind in the family of the basket bloom plants (Asteraceae). The kind covers probably more than 500 different kinds, which are to be determined partly very with difficulty.
The kind received its German names because of the Blattform. It possesses however still innumerably further people names. See in addition usual dandelion (T. officinale)
The dandelion ranks among the so-called The dandelion prospers on nearly all soils, prefers however nitrogen-rich soils. The kind consists except some (usually sexual) kinds mainly of so-called groups of kinds. These small kinds can be differentiated only from specialists according to training of several years. However for the subalpine and alpine stage of Austria 70 small kinds are indicated.
A great many kinships are agamospermisch, i.e. the seeds are ungeschlechtlich produced.
The dandelion belonged to that already longer well-known nature herbs. As welfare-effective contents materials it contains among other things bitter materials, much potassium, Inulin and different Carotinoide. The dandelion is used gladly in spring salads for suggestion for appetite, as easily urine-floating means (blood cleaning) and for the support of the Gallenfunktion. Like many spring plants the dandelion a pronounced blood-cleaning Kraft has and is suitable therefore excellently to a spring cure. It energizes all digesting organs and kidney and blister. For the same reasons it can help also with Rheumatismus. One knows in addition sheets, blooms and roots (drug designation: Taraxaci radix cum herba) use. Dte or a Tinktur is most effective, if all three plant parts in it are contained. Also in the kitchen the dandelion has its place particularly in spring. The tender young sheets result in fine-cut a leckeren, however harsh salad. Who it moderate likes, can the dandelion with other game herbs or salad places mix.
