Dentist chambers are organized the dental autonomy of the dentists and as a body of the public right. They notice assigned tasks on the basis of the federal state law from the supervisory authorities. These tasks are fulfilled solely responsible in place of national authorities. The state exercises the legal supervision, however not the specialized supervision. The vocational interests of the chamber members are noticed by the chamber. In each Land of the Federal Republic existed at least one dentist chamber, additionally exists the working group of the German dentist chambers ("„federal dentist chamber "“) registered association.
