Dickinson Woodruff Richards (* 30 October 1895 in orange, new jersey, the USA; "† 23 February 1973 Lakeville, Connecticut, the USA) was an US-American internalist. it received 1956 together with Werner Forssmann and Frdric Cournand the Nobelpreis for physiology or medicine "„for its discoveries to the Herzkatheterisierung and to the pathological changes in the circulation system "“.
