A diploma economist is a graduate of the economic science. Contrary to the Diplom-Kaufmann or the diploma political economist the diploma economist is trained in overall economic aspects.

Training as the diploma economist

The academic degree diploma economist at universities is attained. It covers an economiceconomics study with the specialization on an institutional or functional field of activity as for example procurement, production, trade, banks with the respective emphasis in the political economy and the jurisprudence. By this integration of operatingscientific, economical and jurisprudential emphasis he differs from the conclusion to the Diplom-Kaufmann or diploma political economist. Professional association of the German diploma economists is the Federal association of German people and operation managers.
