Dr. Owlglass (Eulenspiegel) - actually Hans's Erich Blaich - (*19. January 1873 in Leutkirch in the " 29 October 1945 in was a German physician, writer and a poet. It used its alias for political lyric poetry.
It studied medicine and philosophy in Munich and Heidelberg. After the training as the neck, nose and ear physician practiced starting from 1905 in Stuttgart, starting from 1908 with Munich. It wrote the society", "true Jakob", "the youth", "Simplicissimus" and "March" poems, reviews and small Prosa, which it published later collected than books for the magazines ". 1912-1924 he was an editor with the Simplicissimus and participated later in synchronising the magazine among the national socialists. It translated together with Engelbert Hegaur Gargantua and Pantagruel of Rabelais (Munich 1905).
