Driven (on) the employment place is the generic term of the task forces of fire-brigade, emergency service, THW and other relief organizations for the variety of harmful influences, which can occur in their employment places. In order to protect itself against them, they must know these dangers, their effects as well as means for their defense. For high-level personnel this is particularly important, in order to make the employment-tactically correct decisions.

Danger pattern

Since the individual dangers can be extensive and difficult-to-understand, the task forces avail themselves the danger pattern, a noticing rule (4A-1C-4E-Regel), which designates the most important danger emphasis. Particularly in the guidance procedure by systematic going through of all single steps it is guaranteed that no danger became to ignore and the employment-tactically correct decisions is met.

Extension of the danger pattern

Depending upon literature the 4A-1C-4E-Regel will through add of

• Crash
• Biological dangers
• Drown/water dangers

to the 5A-1B-1C-5E-Regel extends. That is to strengthen the attention of these dangers in the context of the guidance procedure.

Breath poisons

Poisons, which can be inkorporiert by the respiration. Although already into "„chemical dangers "“contain, breath poisons are again specified in the noticing pattern, in order to consider to its importance (frequency of the occurrence, high endangerment, simple protection). Breath poisons can endanger respiration of task forces also otherwise (e.g. contact contacts, etching action) beside the incorporation way. Example: Toxic ones combustible gas-see breath poison.

Fear reaction/panic

Instinct-steered behavior of humans, animals and task forces in different development example: To jump from the burning house into the jump rescuer or into the straight in the structure, not developed yet, present leader-see panic.

Propagation

All forms of the enlargement of an employment situation, concerning both spatial enlargement and enlargement of the circle that concerning example: Spread the fire to an auxiliary building, contamination kidnapping in the GABC employment.

Atomic dangers/ionizing radiation

Harmful influences by ionizing radiation from radioactive sources or technical mechanisms such as x-ray units, particle accelerator example: To traffic accident with participation of a transport of radioactive preparations for medicine-see danger property.

Chemical dangers

From chemical characteristics resulting dangers such as and poisoning example: To reaction of household cleaners with education of chlorine-gas-see danger property.

Illness/injury

Generally each form of illness, particularly trauma tables injuries by accidents and infection example: To employment in a hospital, endangerment by possibly infectious material-see danger property, first assistance.
