Drop managers in Germany particularly qualified coworkers of the federal agency for work and/or the ARGEn or job centers are called, which care for II humans with several obstacles, which oppose the switching into the job market in the context of the execution of the SGB.

These switching obstacles can be for example: Long-term unemployment, illness, craze, debts or language problems.

Fields of the drop manager are the production integration plan with the job seeker, the promotion like also a demanding (partially by sanctions) of the assistance-needy, as well as the grant of unemployment pay. A goal is the assistance-needy back in work brings. Ideally a specialist is to care for 75 clients. However up to 150 assistance-searching are actually cared for. On the average 800 work-looking for came before on a mediator.

Often generally linguistic usage each specialist in the job centers is falsely called drop manager. As a rule however the support takes place via the personal partners (PAP). As implemented already above, drop managers are however particularly qualified advisors with a special consulting and method authority for recognizing and the eliminating of obstacles, which oppose a beginning of work. The number from each drop manager to caring for persons is accordingly smaller than with the other specialists and/or work mediators.

Drop managers are paid content a paying class more highly than the other mediators specialist (PAP). In individual cases for the avoidance of content losses (inventory protection) also not sufficiently qualified coworkers were used as drop managers.

Under the principle of economy and cost saving in the public administration it remains observing critically whether by the employment of drop managers the reintegration can be achieved of assistance receivers actually more effectively than without their employment.
