Economic science is the science of the economics (v. griech.: Oikos = household and Nomos= law). It is divided into the ranges management economics, which examine the economic side of an enterprise within a national economy, as well as political economy (formerly political economy), which examine the overall economic connections and processes in a society. In order to examine and economic phenomena quantitatively analyze economiceconomics models empirically, methods are used. Likewise becomes the which considers industrial engineer natures as well as restaurant history in the context of the economic science. Further disciplines are the economical informatics, the economic geography, traffic economics and the restaurant ethics. Economic aspects are examined also in other social sciences.

Historical development

The history of the economic science is nearly as long as mankind history. The large philosophers of the antique ones and the Middle Ages are considered as ancestor gentlemen of the economic science. When birth of the economic science in the form understood today is considered as research discipline with independent theory things the year 1758, in which the French physician Francois Quesnay its tablet published. By the observations at the Hofe Ludwig XV. lively that described at that time scholar in its work dependence on money and goods stream and thus the income cycle of a country.
