The economical co-operation advice (English: Economic Cooperation Organization/ECO) was created 1985 as a successor organization that regionally Cooperation for development (RCD). The 10 member states are: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kirgisistan, Pakistan, Tadschikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Usbekistan. It concerns here an Islamic Economic Community for the promotion of economic and cultural co-operation between Islamic states with seat in Teheran. The ECO manages a coordination advice the minister of foreign affairs, who meets annually. Four committees are responsible for co-operation in the areas economics and infrastructure, technology and industry, agriculture as well as education and science. 1988 were created a common post office organization (the South and west Asia pos valley union), 1990 then common a Chamber of Commerce and industrie. 1991 signed the members of the ECO minutes over preferential customs duties. 1992 was created a ECO Investitionsbank and a culture organization. Additionally the ECO aims at a customs union.
